BENACUS CHMABER ORCHESTRA

Founded in July 2009 the Benacus Chamber Orchestra came into being thanks to the project shared by a group of young musicians in northern Italy to perform compositions that chiefly range from the Baroque period to early Romanticism and of creating for this purpose a high-level chamber orchestra. In the Benacus Chamber Orchestra, young talents close to graduation collaborate with experienced musicians already engaged in renowned ensembles, with teachers at conservatories and academies of music and, in many productions, with well-known soloists. Its repertoire covers all periods from the 17th century up to the present day and includes compositions by Mozart, Haydn, Vivaldi, Corelli, Bach, Haendel, Franceschini, Boccherini, Manfredini, Pergolesi etc. It has also shown the ability to range from a purely classical repertoire to a more modern one, by performing pop and rock songs: Lady Gaga, Aerosmith, Bruno Mars,...

Offering these works to a receptive audience the Benacus Chamber Orchestra reaches its principal objective, namely to provide a field of activity for young musicians, thus encouraging and furthering their artistic development.
